| Description: | Designs and builds floral decorations and arrangements for weddings and banquets Up to 32 hours a week, sometimes more. Closed Sundays. Generally starts about 8 AM. On feet for whole shift. Fast paced, high production work. Must have pictures of previous floral work to show us. |
| Duties: | Prepares floral orders to highest standards of design and work quality. Meets deadlines. This high-production job will give you lots of opportunity to use and refine your skills. The person will work in a team environment where ideas and concepts are shared and exchanged. Lot of opportunity for input of ideas. |
| Qualifications: | At least one year experience in floral design, including large event pieces, table decorations, coursages, bouquets. Formal floral design education preferred. Good sense of design - including space, rythms, balance, color, texture, and composition. Able to deal well with customers who are under pressure. Must have a passion for floral work. Able to move 50 pounds. Able to concentrate on repetitive production work for long periods. Pleasant manner and attitude; able to communicate with guests in excellent English; Good interpersonal skills. High school graduate preferred. No smoking on the job. |
